Next day we headed to Halifax Island.


The beach looks like this. Big cobbles. Kind of hard to walk on.


The rocks are endlessly beautiful. I wanted to take them all home.


Grasses managed to sprout amongst the lichen-ringed rocks.

It was a wonderful trip and left me with the desire to do more exploration by sea kayak. I'm very grateful to our guides, Conrad and Michael, for teaching me how to kayak camp.
