photos and talk about photos
Thursday, September 13, 2007
Kate has been adventuring at Quebec's Cote-Nord. You can read the whole action-packed trip report or just gaze at the photos (and videos) here.

Comments:
Kate, your Quebec piece is stunning! You have a wonderful talent for "taking us along"; I began to have sore arms about day 4!

Wow, I loved this whole account. Some of the photographs were breathtaking, and the commentary was exactly the amount that I wanted to read.
I _almost_ want to visit there in a kayak myself.
I was interested to read your comments about doing this kind of adventure alone. They expressed very well my own experience. I used to do cycle touring alone (nowhere near as exciting as your kayaking) and I found it much easier to meet people and having met, talk to them, than when part of a couple or group. Not to mention the freedom to go wherever I wanted without discussion.
