NINE DAYS OF SEAKAYAKING QUEBEC'S COTE-NORD
Wild Adventure or Cheap National Park Vacation?
This spring I came upon a mention of the Mingan Archipelago on a seakayaking message board. I'd never heard of the place and did a little research. There was almost no information on it, apart from the National Park website. I found one trip report by a Vermonter, Jeff Gephart, who had done two trips there, one of them solo. I found another by a group of French Canadians - with a Google translation it was a source of info too. Beyond that, there was little. After contacting Jeff with my questions, I was convinced that this was a trip I wanted to try. I decided to post detailed information about the trip for the use of other kayakers who may want to go there too. I hope this is helpful!
